Step 4

Filter within minutes, transfer to N₂-blanketed stainless tank

Plate-and-frame or bag filtration immediately post-press. Oil must not sit in open trays or pass through carbon-steel piping. Transfer to N₂-purged stainless tank; keep headspace oxygen below 2%.

Step 5

Fill in dark glass with N₂ headspace, print 3–6 month expiry

100–500 ml dark glass bottles, nitrogen flush before capping. Label with pressing date and expiry (3–6 months). Ship via cold-chain or advise retailers to refrigerate. Shelf presence beyond 6 months is not credible for cold-pressed flaxseed oil.
